The module

Copy it exactly as printed on the box or the label.

The single most useful thing you can give us — listings carry the specs, photos and often the manual.

A clear shot of the label with the model number tells us the exact hardware revision. JPEG, PNG, WebP or HEIC, up to 5 MB.

What happens when you text it

This is the part that decides whether we can add your module. Every field here is optional — but the more you fill in, the less we have to email you back about.

This pair identifies the protocol faster than anything else. Copy both exactly, punctuation and spacing included. If a reply contains a phone number, feel free to mask the last few digits.

Phone number formatting rules differ per country, and some operators strip characters from SMS.

This is usually what decides whether a module gets added — we can't verify commands without someone holding the hardware.

We use your email only to reply about hardware support. Your submission — including any photo you attach — is delivered through our email provider (Resend) to our inbox at hello@gate-opener.app, and is kept for up to 24 months. See our Privacy Policy for details.
